Content Policy
- Only upload video or audio you made or have the rights to use.
- Removing the music from a file doesn't give you rights to what's left. The voice, the footage and any effects still belong to whoever owns them.
- We delete your upload within 24 hours. Results stay for 24 hours (no account), 3 days (free account) or 7 days (paid account), then they're deleted too.
- We don't use your files to train AI models.
- If a file uses your work without permission, tell us and we'll remove it.
What you can upload
AI Music Remover separates a recording into its parts: the voice, the sound effects and the music. That's useful for your own videos, podcasts, streams and recordings, and for practice tracks from songs you're allowed to use.
- Your own recordings. Anything you filmed or recorded yourself is fine.
- Files you have permission for. A client's video, a colleague's podcast, a band's recording you play in: fine, as long as they said yes.
- Other people's work. Don't upload a film, show, song or stream you don't have the rights to and then publish the result. Removing the music doesn't make the rest of the file yours.
When you upload a file, you confirm that you have the right to use it this way.
What you can't use it for
- Passing off someone else's work. Don't publish a vocal or instrumental taken from someone else's song as your own.
- Getting around a takedown. Removing music so a copied video slips past a platform's checks is still copying the video.
- Deception. Don't use a separated, changed, generated or cloned voice to make people believe someone said something they didn't.
- Cloning without consent. Only clone your own voice or a voice you have permission to use. Voices reported as cloned without consent are removed.
- Illegal content. No files that are illegal to hold or share, and nothing sexual involving a minor, ever.
If we learn that a file breaks this policy, we delete it, and repeated or serious breaks can close the account.
Your files
Your upload is used only to make your result. Our separation provider receives the audio to do that work, and we tell it to delete its copy as soon as the job is done.
- Uploads are deleted within 24 hours.
- Results are kept for 24 hours without an account, 3 days on a free account and 7 days on a paid account, so you have time to download them. Then they're deleted.
- You can delete a file sooner from My files.
We don't use your files to train AI models, and we never share or publish them.
Reporting a file
If you think someone used AI Music Remover on your work without permission, send a notice through our copyright page or contact us. We look at every report, usually within a day.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page.
