The short version
  • AI Music Remover is a tool. Files you process are private to your account and are deleted after 24 hours to 7 days. We don't publish, share or index them.
  • Only upload files you made or have the rights to use. Removing the music doesn't give you rights to what's left. See our Terms of Service.
  • If you believe a file stored on AI Music Remover infringes your copyright, email a notice to support@aimusicremover.com with the details below.

What a notice must include

To act on a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we need:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
  2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. The material you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it: a job ID, a file name, or a download link from our site.
  4. Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

What we do

When we get a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the material, tell the account holder, and pass on a copy of the notice. Accounts that infringe repeatedly are closed.

Incomplete notices may be returned with a request for the missing details. A notice that knowingly misrepresents infringement can make the sender liable for damages.

Counter-notice

If your file was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you had the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district in which AI Music Remover may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
