The short version
  • AI Music Remover removes music from video and audio, splits a song into vocals and instrumental, and changes, reads out or clones a voice.
  • Only clone your own voice or a voice you have permission to use.
  • Only upload files you made or have the rights to use. Removing the music doesn't give you rights to what's left.
  • Minutes are billed by the second. Every price shows before you start. Pack minutes never expire; plan minutes refresh each month.
  • Results are made by AI and can miss or leave traces of sound. Listen before you publish.

Who we are

AI Music Remover (aimusicremover.com) is an online tool. "We" and "us" mean the people who run it; "you" means anyone who uses it. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, Content Policy and Refund Policy.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 (16 in the EU) to use AI Music Remover, and old enough to make purchases where you live to buy minutes.
  • Give a real email address and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One free sign-up bonus per person. Creating extra accounts to collect more free minutes is not allowed, and we may remove those minutes.

Your files and results

  • You keep all rights to the files you upload and to the results, as far as you had them to begin with.
  • You give us permission to store and process your files only to make, show and deliver your results, and to delete them on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. We don't use your files to train AI models.
  • When you upload a file, you confirm you have the right to use it this way. You're responsible for how you use the results, including publishing them.
  • Files are deleted automatically. Download what you want to keep.

Minutes, plans and payments

  • Minutes. Separating a file uses minutes for its length, billed by the second. The free preview of the first 30 seconds doesn't use any. A deeper second pass on the same file is free.
  • Voice tools. The Voice Changer uses 2 minutes for every started minute of the file, 2 at least; keeping a video's background music adds 1 minute per minute of video, billed by the second with a 10-second minimum. Text to Speech uses 3 minutes per 1,000 characters, 10 seconds at least. Cloning a voice is free, up to 10 saved voices. A free account can make 3 clones every 30 days; after any purchase, up to 10 a day.
  • Packs are a one-time purchase. Pack minutes never expire.
  • Plans renew every month or year until you cancel. Each month's minutes refresh at renewal; unused plan minutes don't carry over. Plan minutes are used before pack minutes.
  • Unlimited is billed monthly. Its first 900 minutes each month start right away. After them your files run one at a time, each starting when your previous one finishes, up to a fair-use limit of 1,500 minutes a month; the limit resets at renewal. Unlimited has no top-ups.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Your bank may add currency fees. Payments are handled by Stripe.
  • Refunds follow the Refund Policy. If a separation or a voice run fails, the minutes come back to your balance automatically.
  • Minutes have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.

Cloned voices

  • Only clone your own voice, or a voice whose owner has given you permission. When you upload a sample, you confirm that you have it.
  • Don't use a cloned, changed or generated voice to impersonate someone, to make people believe a real person said something they didn't, or for fraud, harassment or political deception.
  • Your voices are private to your account. Nobody else can pick them, and we don't use them for anything but your own runs.
  • If someone tells us their voice was cloned without consent, we may remove the voice and its results and suspend the account while we look into it.
  • Deleting a voice removes it and its sample. Deleting your account removes every voice, sample and result.

What you can't do

  • Upload content you don't have rights to and publish the result as your own, or use the tool to get around copyright takedowns.
  • Use a separated, changed, generated or cloned voice to deceive people or impersonate someone.
  • Upload anything illegal, including any sexual content involving a minor.
  • Overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service, or use bots or scripts to get around free limits.

If a file on AI Music Remover uses your work without permission, report it on our DMCA page. We remove reported files and close accounts that infringe repeatedly.

The service

  • Results are made by AI. They're usually clean but can leave traces of music, cut into a voice or miss a sound effect, especially on noisy recordings. We don't promise a particular quality.
  • We work to keep the site running but can't promise it will never be down or slow. We may change, add or remove features; if we stop selling a plan, we'll tell subscribers first.
  • The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close it without a good reason, we'll refund unused pack minutes.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date at the top and email account holders before it takes effect. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
